Scott Self Storage - Charity Bike Ride, SOLWAY 50K

28.06.11

CYCLE THE SOLWAY

If you enjoy cycling, why not join us in a gentle ride along quiet, flat country roads, through picturesque villages, in an unspoilt and relatively undiscovered part of Cumbria.

Scott Self Storage, together with Solway Communications, are organising the Solway 50K and Solway 25K which will take place on Sunday 7th. August 2011. Proceeds from the ride will be donated to the Eden Valley Hospice.

The circular ride starts and finishes at the Border Reiver pub on
Holmrook Road
in Carlisle. The route is sign posted through Little Orton, Moorhouse, and Thurstonfield. The shorter route turns right through Easton, to join the marsh road to head back to the finish. The longer route continues on to Kirkbride, Anthorn, Cardurnock, Bowness on Solway, Port Carlisle, and then back along the marsh road to Longburgh, and Thurstonfield to the finish.

  3. It is excellent idea. Not only storing things in self storage unit, but having a program like this can support many people who needs help through donations. I am very greatful to get this information from you, it would help Stor-n-lock riverdale to have operations like this, to be able to envolve the company supports. Great job! keep it up.
